Alumni Update
I just spent a year teaching a class in Crisis Intervention and Conflict Resolution for the department. Dave Skow was also involved with this endeavor. We are continuing to teach new hires at a much slower pace.
On the personal side, it has been a busy year with two daughters graduating (one from Concordia and another from high school). The oldest was married this last weekend.
"What I Remember from the Program"
My fondest memories of the CPM program are of the closeness and comradery that we developed as a class. I find myself remembering certain parts of classes at different times. I recently pushed hard for a project group that I was involved in to embrace technology. I did not win but I feel like I adequately made a point and was acknowledged for the validity of the point. My favorite lesson and easiest to remember is the phrase, “Man-up.” Dr. Williams taught us this phrase in her Human Resources class. It applies more often than you might think.Additional Information
