Dr. Kim’s research interest is in studying diverse modes of public service delivery and further evaluating the effectiveness of different forms of public service management strategies, such as intergovernmental collaboration, public-private partnerships, and co-production of public services. Recently, Dr. Kim participated in a project regarding inter-local collaboration and local fiscal outcomes in Nebraska. His dissertation focused on the fiscal impacts of water and wastewater funding sources in Nebraska.
