About Joel Gehringer
Joel Gehringer has served as director of annual campaigns, overseeing the annual giving programs of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and Nebraska Medicine, for six years. In this role, he has built comprehensive, metric-driven annual giving programs for each campus, including direct mail, phone, email, social media, giving days, crowdfunding and stewardship.
Prior to this role, he served as direct mail coordinator for Creighton University, and as marketing manager for the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, NE.
Currently, Joel also is pursuing a doctorate in public administration at UNO, with an emphasis on philanthropy and nonprofit management. Joel also holds an MA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
