Biography
William L. Swann is an assistant professor and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska Chair of Health Care Administration and Policy in the School of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He studies local community opioid response, disparities in treatment and service availability for people with substance use disorder, and the implementation of medications for opioid use disorder in justice settings. The Health Resources and Services Administration supports his work on rural community opioid response. He has also written about collaborative governance, public management, and sustainable development and previously taught at the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs.
