STEPs promotes evidence-informed decision making through research and evaluation using a collaborative, utilization-focused approach to support social service programs and policies that transform and improve lives.
Overview
The STEPs research and program evaluation team focuses on public and private organizations that provide social, public health, and educational services by working closely with program stakeholders to inform program improvement, increase sustainability, prepare logic models, and assess needs, activities, and outcomes. In all evaluation activities, including planning, implementation, and interpretation, the STEPs team uses evidence to make decisions and illustrate the impact of an organization’s work through data visualization and comprehensive reports.
Products and Procedures
STEPs works closely with community partners to understand their individual evaluation needs and build a tailored evaluation plan for each organization by offering a variety of evaluation services, training, and technical assistance. Click here to learn more.
