Raise the Roots: A Watershed Moment
Unwind from the holiday weekend at Raise The Roots: A Watershed Moment! Celebrate Nebraska Watershed Network (NWN) and our community at this special family-friendly event on Nov. 27, 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about and engage in conversation about local environmental issues, with a special focus on water security.
Visit the informational booths from Raise the Roots' community partners: Nebraska Communities United, Nebraska Watershed Network, GC Resolve, Prairie Plains Resources, Omaha Permaculture, the Nebraska Farmers Union, and more. Admission is $7 at the door, children under 12 are free.

About Nebraska Watershed Network
The Nebraska Watershed Network (NWN) is a building partner organization housed within the UNO Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (Weitz CEC). As a student-driven organization, NWN strives to promote water quality awareness through outreach, education and research.
The NWN works with local individuals, community organizations , schools, and government entities to design and implement projects in the Omaha area associated with water quality and preservation .
