A Nebraska Shakespeare Collaboration
Nebraska Shakespeare, Nebraska's own professional theatre company and nonprofit organization dedicated to all things the Bard, has teamed up with the Theatre Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and Creighton Theatre to present A War of Roses.
The collaboration is a two-part retelling of William Shakespeare's Henry 6 Trilogy: Part one, A War of Roses: Foreign Flames and A War of Roses, and part two, A Fire Within, and a first-of-its-kind collaboration. Both productions feature casts and production teams comprised of faculty and students from both UNO and Creighton, as well as alumni professionals hired by Nebraska Shakespeare. Over 100 people plan to make this a reality. Read more by visiting the Nebraska Shakespeare blog.

- A War of Roses: A Fire Within | Nov. 11-13 | 17-20 | Creighton Lied Center
Nebraska Shakespeare is known for their wildly popular annual Shakespeare on the Green events. Interim Artistic Director, Vincent Carlson-Brown says that "this project has been three years in the making. It's a special project to celebrate the organizations 30th anniversary and having both universities work with each other is important.”
