OMAHA, NE - Aug. 2015, Stuart Chittenden set off across Nebraska in an RV in search of cultures, conversations, and community. He called the project A Couple of 830 mile long conversations from Nebraska.
In towns along the way, Stuart talked with residents about their lives, landscapes, and stories. The project shares some of the people, places, and voices that Stuart encountered in the form of narratives and photographs. The photographs and summary narratives are currently on display at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (Weitz CEC) and are open to the public during normal business hours. In addition to the photographs, an intrinsic appeal of the exhibition is the voices of the people pictured.
The exhibit is on display from Feb. 2 until March 10 and can be found hanging on the walls in the second floor West hallway. MP3 audio guides can be checked out from the Weitz CEC IT Office, Room 111.
For questions about the project or for additional information please contact Stuart.
