As a senior at UNO, Madeline St. Clair shows an impeccable devotion to the community through volunteering and leadership.

Now accepting nominations for the 2020 Newman Civic Fellowship. Nominations are specific to UNO students who are community-driven and due by Dec. 4.

This October, the League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha partnered with UNO faculty member Rita Shaughnessy’s Honors Public Speaking course and UNO Service Learning Academy to host the 7th biannual Running and Winning workshop.

The Marian Ivers Community Service Leadership Award recognizes the actions, commitment, and leadership of currently enrolled UNO students who are addressing issues affecting our community. Applications are due Sept. 9.
