Apply to be on the UNO panel at Omaha Comic Con

UNO Faculty and Staff are invited to apply to be a part of the UNO track of panels at this summer’s Omaha Comic Con. These sessions will be held between 10 A.M. and 7 P.M. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.

The goal of these panels is to highlight the ideas, research, and passion of UNO faculty and staff in areas related to comics, pop culture, science, sociology, etc as they relate to Omaha Comic Con’s mission in an effort to amplify their work, support these studies in an academic context, and showcase UNO as a school that encourages these studies.

Any faculty or staff in any department is welcome to apply. Students may participate on panels or may present panels under faculty sponsorship. Complete the online panel submission form by April 1, 2017 to be considered. At least six panels will be chosen; more may be added depending on response. Selected panels will be chosen by May 1, 2017.
