Advanced Placement® is administered by the College Board®. Earning college credit through Advanced Placement® depends on how well students perform on the national AP® exam in May.
Not every student who passes an AP® course will achieve a score high enough on the national AP® exam to earn college credit.
Not every score earned necessarily means proficiency or placement in a discipline. It is up to the student to understand what scores are required in order to express proficiency or placement. Universities like the University of Nebraska Omaha will likely provide what scores are needed for proficiency or placement.
