What is Stellic?

Stellic is a degree management tool used to build your degree plan, track progress and visualize the impact of courses as you progress toward on-time graduation.

Stellic empowers students to take charge of their degree plan. This powerful degree planning software helps students register for the right classes at the right time, alerts students to any issues with their degree path, provides students with options for completing their degree, and even lets students examine alternate degree paths.

Planning Your Pathway

Using the Planner

The planner allows you to plan what courses you intend to take in future semesters. You can also add activities and extracurriculars to your plan. More about adding courses

Using Placeholders

Placeholders can be added to a semester in the planner to list a remaining requirement instead of a specific course. More about using placeholders

Adding Activities

Activities can be added to your planner to reserve time in your schedule for athletics, work, volunteering, extracurricular activities, and more. More about adding activities

Using Pathways

Pathways are generic 4-year plans created by the department that list a potential course sequence or pathway for your major. Pathways are only available to students on the 2024-2025 catalog and forward. More about using pathways

Frequently Asked Questions for Students

Stellic is UNO’s new online degree management tool. It offers a robust set of features that will help students track their progress and plan their degree program at UNO.

Students get to Stellic from MavLINK in the same way the previous degree audit system was accessed. Students can navigate to Stellic through their MavLINK Student homepage on the left hand menu navigation.

Stellic should be used as a Planning, Scheduling and Degree Audit tool.

  • Students can use the planner to map out what courses or requirements they would like to satisfy each semester through to graduation.
  • Students can then use the scheduler to generate a schedule for a specific semester that works for the student.

Not at this time. If you want to change your major, you should schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor for the specific program you are interested in. You can find contact information for other advising offices at the following link: Find Your Academic Advisor.

Stellic updates daily, so any changes made should be reflected in Stellic the following day.

Your advisor is listed in MavLINK, on MavConnect and UNO Stellic.  You can also contact any advisor using this page https://www.unomaha.edu/advising/students/contact-the-right-advisor.php

Be sure to send any feedback through email to unostellic@unomaha.edu
