About the Committee
The committee shall acquire detailed knowledge of the budget and expenditures of the entire University of Nebraska System and shall act as a source of information and independent opinion for the faculty senate.

Faculty Senate Bylaws
The Budget Advisory Committee shall consist of three faculty appointed, one each year, for three-year terms. The chairperson shall be an individual who has expertise in budget matters. The committee shall acquire detailed knowledge of the budget and expenditures of the entire University of Nebraska system and shall act as a source of information and independent opinion for the faculty senate. The secretary-treasurer of the faculty senate shall act as liaison between the committee and the executive council.
