Application Process:
- Cavanagh Campus Event: February 17, 2023 (see Project Implementation)
Review Process:
- UCAT will review proposals and make funding decisions based on a proposal’s alignment with the purposes of the initiative (see above) and with the aim to fund proposals representative of multiple campus units.
Project Implementation:
Team members of funded proposals must commit to attending Sarah Rose Cavanagh’s morning presentation and afternoon workshop scheduled for February 17, 2023. The morning event is a presentation open to the campus. In the afternoon, members of funded initiatives will have time to work directly with Cavanagh to get feedback and guidance on their projects. If a team member cannot attend these events, please note the reason in the “Other” information section of the proposal submission. Reasonable accommodations are possible, but to receive funding, most of the team must commit to attending the keynote and afternoon workshop.
Funded projects should be completed by December 2023. Planning can occur in spring of 2023, with implementation in the spring, summer, or fall of 2023. Teams will commit to two campus check-in meetings (one in the spring and fall 2023) and presenting projects at a showcase in spring 2024.
