Biography
Erin Bass, Associate Professor of Management and James R. Schumacher Chair of Ethics, obtained her Ph.D. in strategic management from the University of Nebraska. Since 2014, Bass has been a valued faculty member within the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where she imparts her knowledge to students across various academic levels. Her instructional repertoire encompasses undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses, covering topics such as strategy, leadership, and business ethics.
Bass's scholarly contributions extend beyond the classroom. She has published her academic research in a variety of top tier journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, the Academy of Management Review, and the Academy of Management Journal, among others. With a commitment to advancing both theoretical understanding and practical applications, Bass's research has garnered international recognition and has been instrumental in shaping scholarly discourse in strategy and business ethics.
