Finding a Place to Live
International students have several on-campus housing options or may choose to live in nearby privately owned apartment complexes.
On-Campus Housing
UNO has apartment-style living on its Dodge and Scott campuses for undergraduate and graduate degree program students.
On-campus housing is limited; we recommend applying as soon as you are admitted to UNO.
Housing for ILUNO Students
International students enrolled in the Intensive Language (ILUNO) program are asked to complete the ILUNO Housing and Arrival Information Form for housing arrangements.
Off-Campus Housing
International students may choose to live off campus, and Omaha has a variety of nearby apartment complexes. You can search for apartments by size, price, and proximity to campus through an off-campus listing service tailored to UNO students.
Incoming Exchange Students
If you are an exchange student or attending UNO through a program such as Fulbright, ISEP, or IREX, apply for on-campus housing after being admitted.
Temporary Housing
There is a chance that on-campus housing will be unavailable due to high demand. If you need an alternative, short-term place to live while looking for an apartment, temporary housing options are available in hotels on or near the campus—email international advising for more information.
