Stephen G. Houston currently teaches Leadership Development and the Business Management classes for International Professional Development (IPD). He guided the development of a rich mentoring program for IPD trainees and helps the IPD Trainees tweak their public speaking skills. He earned two degrees from UNO including an MBA in Finance. For the first phase of his career he worked in Finance at several large Omaha firms including CFO of Webco Printing. His second phase included numerous Business Development roles in Nebraska. Next, he earned a nationally recognized certificate in Business and Leadership Coaching. He coaches numerous executives and has built a team-building program that these same firms have adopted. In 2011, he joined the IPD program as an Instructor. He lives in Omaha with his wife Marla, has 4 children and competes as a Triathlete. He volunteers as merit badge counselor for his sons’ Boy Scout troop and is a member of the Business Ethics Alliance organization in Omaha.
