Global learning is still possible!
While travel is limited, there are still so many ways the UNO Education Abroad Office can assist faculty looking to incorporate global learning into their course content. With 50 exchange partners worldwide and 20-plus affiliate partnerships, UNO’s expansive network can open the world to your students. Let us help you internationalize your curriculum in 2021 and beyond.
What types of online global learning components can your office provide?
There are many ways we can enrich a course, including:
- Guest Lectures
- Industry Talks/Visits
- Student to Student ‘Buddy’ Programs
- Livestream Walking Tours with Local Guides
- Cultural Discussions with Local IE Professionals
- Intercultural Competence Assessments (IDI)
- Other ideas? We’re ready to discuss!
I’m interested in exploring this further. What should I do?
We would love to talk with you and learn where we can support your internationalization efforts. Send an email to UNO’s Global Course Coordinator, Annie Spielman at aspielman@unomaha.edu. Give us the basics - who you are, what you teach, if you already have a country or world region in mind for your course, and any other pertinent information. We’re looking forward to an amazing and global 2021 for you and your students!
