Peer Advisors

Students have the opportunity to work in the Education Abroad office as Peer Advisors.

Meet our current Peer Advisors:

	Leigha Moore "Hello! my name is Leigha Moore and I am a first-year student at UNO. My major is Business Administration with a concentration on International Business. I love to travel, play soccer, and write poetry! I am excited to assist you on your abroad journey!"
	Luis A. Bustamante Salgado "Hello Mavs! My name is Luis Angel Bustamante Salgado and I am a sophomore this year. I am working on getting a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and Marketing. I have traveled to Mexico in 2016 and planning to travel to South Korea in the fall of 2022! I believe that traveling abroad is very important because it will lead us to grow as a new person by learning different cultures or perhaps a new language. My family is very traditional and prefers to stay in one place occasionally allowing us to travel to Mexico. I’m a rulebreaker and I’m going to be the first one in my entire family to study outside the US and Mexico. My goal is to demonstrate that anyone can study abroad and to inspire others of traveling abroad! Studying abroad is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you can’t miss! Come by and talk to me who knows what conversation we can get out of each other!"
