Post-Program Transcripts and Credit
Before transfer credit for your courses abroad can be posted, the Education Abroad Office must receive an official copy of your transcript from your program. This can take several months.
Most institutions choose to mail transcripts to UNO, but we are also able to accept official transcripts that have been sent directly to the Education Abroad Office from the institution.
Your institution should be emailing your transcript to unostudyabroad@unomaha.edu or mailing it to this address:
UNO Education Abroad, ASH 241
University of Nebraska at Omaha
6001 Dodge Street
Omaha, NE 68182-0227

Meet with your academic advisor to discuss transfer credit
If you successfully completed all courses that you included on your signed course approval form, you will receive credit for the corresponding UNO courses. After those credits have been posted, you need to meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your courses can be applied to your degree program. This ensures that you are maximizing your transfer credit and not unintentionally delaying graduation.
