Omaha, Nebraska –
Quentin Farley, Consultant, NBDC's Nebraska Procurement Technical Assistance Center, recently received the Certified Procurement Professional certification from the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC).
APTAC's Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) certification sets the standard for achievement in the field of procurement assistance. Developed specifically for government contracting assistance specialists, they are clearly articulated, content-based credentials which signify a specific and extensive knowledge base and skill set, defining procurement assistance as a unique and rigorous profession and recognizing those who have achieved mastery of it.
“In the ever changing landscape of government contracting, the CPP certification process gives me the necessary training and tools to provide sound assistance, said Quentin Farley. "Earning my CPP establishes immediate credibility and trust with my clients. I am thankful NBDC provides the needed resources to their PTAC consultants to achieve and maintain their certification.”
APTAC is the professional organization of and for Defence Logistics Agency-funded Procurement Technical Assistance Programs. APTAC supports the PTACs by providing them important information, professional networking, comprehensive training opportunities and a voice in national government contracting assistance and policy arenas.
