About Amber Golden
Amber Golden is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing.
She received her Bachelor of Science from Nebraska Methodist College. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing.
Her NP certification is Adult Gerontology Primary Care. Her DNP capstone project was a feasibility study that involved making a system-level change using motivational Interviewing, tailored discharge education and electronic medical record flow sheet intervention in adults with alcohol use disorder.
She currently is teaching at UNMC as well as practicing at a primary care clinic. Her research interests include primary care, geriatric transitional care, telehealth, and interprofessionalism.
She presently teaches multiple courses within the undergraduate nursing program as well as the Graduate Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP Program.
