Dr. Starlette Dossou is a Physician Assistant at the UNO Health Center. She has been practicing at UNO for over five years.
She originated from West Africa and migrated to the United States when she was nine years old.
She is fluent in French, Spanish and other African dialects.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at Creighton University followed by her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Des Moines University.
Dr. Dossou loves being emersed in the UNO culture and really enjoys helping the students, faculty, and staff. She takes pride in doing all that she can to ensure that her patients are in good health so that they can pursue their career goals. She especially loves working with the UNO student population because they help her remain young at heart.
An interesting fact about Dr. Dossou is that she is also a professional dancer for an African dance group called African Culture Connection in Omaha! You can see her perform both locally and nationally as they travel around the country.
