Omaha – The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is a proud participant in this year's Miracle on Farnam at Midtown Crossing.
Midtown Crossing's Miracle on Farnam is a season-long celebration of creativity, good cheer and authentic holiday pleasures. Stroll in the glow of sparkling lights, sip hot chocolate, and enjoy Midtown Crossing's newest holiday tradition -- a parade of dazzling window displays. All along Farnam Street, Omaha's creative nonprofits will showcase their artistry and imagination by transforming ordinary window space into holiday miracles.
Be sure to stop by Midtown Crossing to enjoy the holiday festivities and view UNO's winter window--It's all free to the public with three hours of garage parking included. The displays will then be available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. through New Year's Day.
We hope you'll vote for UNO's winter window, and share some Maverick cheer this holiday season.
UNO's window features the work of Bertha Megendoht-Hatz, a supporter of the UNO Art and Art History Department, work by BFA student Kristine Hansen-Cain, and set design by UNO Theatre major Tommy Hanlon and University Communications Graphic Designer Althea Satterfield. The UNO window is located in space #8, one space west of the Marcus Midtown Cinema, on the attached map.
