Explore UNO's Creative Production Lab

The UNO Criss Library Creative Production Lab is a place where patrons can work with video, audio, photography, design, and 3D modeling. The lab is open to UNO students, faculty and staff.

The UNO Criss Library Creative Production Lab, located in Room 248, features everything from a 3D printer and 3D laser cutter to top-of-the-line video and audio editing software, as well as a poster-size scanner and printer; graphic design software; and equipment including HD camcorders and wireless microphones.

3D Printing

3D printing is available in the Creative Production Lab to all UNO students, faculty, and staff. Prints are just $0.15/gram.

Laser Cutting

The Creative Production Lab offers laser cutting for just $.25 a minute.

It is open to all UNO students, faculty, and staff.

You don’t need design experience! Lab staff can help every step of the way.

Other Features

Extended Hours

The Creative Production Lab is now open even later.

For the remainder of the semester, the lab will be open the following hours:

  • Sunday: 1-11 P.M.
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30 A.M. - Midnight
  • Friday: 8:30 A.M. - 5 P.M.
  • Saturday: Closed

These hours will be modified according to the library’s holiday schedule.
