OMAHA – OMAHA - Activist Yusef Salaam shared his story on campus on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
Salaam is one of the “Central Park Five,” a group of five teenagers who were wrongly convicted in the 1989 sexual assault of a jogger in New York’s Central Park.
The young men served full sentences but were later exonerated after a man who was already in prison confessed to the crime.
