UNO Flag Lowering for Joseph LaVoie

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Thursday, December 10, 2015, for Joseph LaVoie, a former Professor in the Psychology Department.

Joseph passed away December 3, 2015, at age 85. He worked at UNO from September 1, 1970, until his retirement September 1, 2000.

Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, John LaVoie; son, Phillip LaVoie; and daughter, Allison Stodolka. He is survived by his wife, Frances LaVoie; sister, Lois Noble; grandchild, Kody Stodolka; son-in-law, Thomas Stodolka; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
