OMAHA – Rep. Brad Ashford was keynote speaker at the Take Point University Conference, a collaboration of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Office of Military and Veteran Services and the Atlantic Council.

The conference provided an opportunity for students to learn from national security and foreign policy experts through workshops, followed by a research pitch competition.

Ashford spoke about the fight against ISIS, veterans' access to healthcare and the changing face of war.
