Through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, the School of Music of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) was able to use new and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2016-2017 school year. These instruments will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and provide financial support to the music program at UNO.
A large selection of professional pianos, digital pianos, keyboards, and orchestral strings will be available. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go.
If your purchase exceeds the Fair Market Value of the instrument, it could be considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax deductible. You should consult with your own tax adviser as to the individual deductibility of any contribution.
There are two ways to view and purchase instruments:
- By Appointment: You are invited to attend a special "pre-sale" on Thursday, June 1, Friday, June 2, and the morning of Saturday, June 3 along with our faculty and staff, prior to the general public. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time call: 402.554.4138.
- Final Day: You may attend the final sale day on Saturday, June 3 from 2 - 5 P.M. without an appointment.
This event will be held in the Strauss Performing Arts Center at UNO.
