The Midtown Historic Neighborhood Garden Walk and Trolley Tree Tour will begin at the UNO Welcome Center June 26, 2016, at 9:30 A.M. The UNO Welcome Center will be open for attendees to tour.
The Garden Walk
The Garden Walk, which costs $12, will run from 9:30 A.M. to 4 P.M. It will include a diverse array of landscapes such as fairy, perennial, pollinator, three-pond, and bio-retention gardens. RSVP for the walk today by contacting Diana Failla at 402.651.5779 or theurbanbirdandnaturealliance@cox.net.
The Trolley Tree Tour
The Trolley Tree Tour, which costs $15, will run from 9:30 A.M. to noon. It will feature some seriously gigantic, historic trees at several Omaha parks and landmarks. Proceeds from the event go to preserve and restore nature in the city and to connect, educate, and raise awareness about the natural landscape and wildlife in the urban environment where people live, work, and play.
