UNO's Joseph Hanseling Is Recognized as a Rising Star
The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Joseph Hanseling, Assistant Director-Outdoor Recreation, has been selected as the NASPA IV-West New Professional Rising Star from Nebraska.
This award is presented to a new professional who has been employed in full-time position with a Division of Student Affairs for less than three years and has made significant contributions to his or her campus.
Joseph’s nominators complimented his collaborative approach to his role, friendly and outgoing personality, and dedication to the university.
They said, “Joe really exemplifies the term ‘Rising Star.’ His service to students, faculty, and staff is notable. He collaborates with numerous departments across campus and within the University of Nebraska system. Perhaps most importantly, he is dedicated to supporting student learning outside and inside the classroom, and this commitment is enhancing the students’ educational experience.”
Joseph will be honored in November at the NASPA IV-West Conference in St. Louis.
