OMAHA – Learn principles and methods used by one of the world’s greatest investors and business leaders, Warren Buffett, with a preview of a unique University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Executive MBA course.
Robert P. Miles, Buffett author and international speaker, will host a social on Friday, Sept. 9, at UNO’s Mammel Hall (6708 Pine St) to preview “The Genius of Warren Buffett” course.
The free event takes place from 5 - 7 p.m. and is open to anyone interested in learning more about “The Genius of Warren Buffett” UNO Executive MBA course taught by Miles in the spring and fall.
Miles will provide a brief description of the course and introduce several guest speakers, including a graduate of the course who will offer a sample investment stock pitch, followed by a reception featuring appetizers and Buffett’s favorite Dairy Queen Dilly Bars.

Attendees can enter a drawing for one free entry into the fall course, scheduled for Sept. 29 - Oct. 1 and Oct. 20 - 22 at Mammel Hall. The hands-on course, open to lifelong learners and graduate students, analyzes Buffett’s life, career and investment principles. Miles said the fall course will place an emphasis on character, management, leadership style and corporate values.
Sponsors include the Borsheims, Oriental Trading Company, the Greater Omaha Chamber, UNO College of Business Administration, UNO Executive MBA Program and UNO Genius of Warren Buffett Course. Borsheims will also provide several door prizes.
