UNO has purchased the Panopto Video Content Management (VCM) system for the 2016-17 academic year. Panopto is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to record video presentations, manage existing video files, and stream video content to any device. The software can be used in classrooms that are equipped with recording equipment or it can be installed on any PC/Mac or laptop (and used on your mobile device). With Panopto, you can record your screen and audio, as well as video from your webcam. All recordings are automatically uploaded to the Panopto server and integrated with UNO's Blackboard, where they can be shared with your students. Unlike using Blackboard alone, Panopto streams the video to your students, adjusting for multiple speeds and devices, and does not require them to download the video before watching.
