UNO Flag Lowering for Karl Kosloski

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Tuesday, October 4, 2016, in memory of Karl Kosloski.

Karl passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, and was 66 years old at the time of his death. Funeral service information was published in the Omaha World-Herald on Saturday, October 1.

While at UNO, Karl worked as a professor in the Gerontology Department from June 1, 1994, until his retirement on October 1, 2013. Karl was the Department Chair from 2007 to 2009, and earned many honors during his time as a faculty member in the College of Public Affairs and Community Service.
