UNO Flag Lowering in Honor of Robert Detisch

UNO flag lowered

The UNO flag located in the Pep Bowl will be lowered.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Tuesday, October 25, 2016, in memory of Robert Detisch.

Robert passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016, and was 81 years old at the time of his death. Funeral service information was published in the Omaha World-Herald.

While at UNO, Robert worked as an Associate Professor in the English Department. He worked at UNO from August 26, 1971 until his retirement on March 1, 2000. Robert was also a veteran.
