UNO Flag Lowering for Anthony Procopio

The UNO flag near the Pep Bowl will be lowered from sunrise to sunset.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Thursday, November 3, 2016, in memory of UNO retiree Anthony Procopio.

Anthony passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, and was 85 years old at the time of his death. Funeral service information was published in the Omaha World-Herald on Monday, October 31.

While at UNO, Anthony worked in Custodial Services from 1985 until his retirement in 1996. Anthony was also a veteran.
