UNO Flag Lowering in Honor of Charles Sedlacek

The UNO flag near the Pep Bowl will be lowered November 23.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in memory of UNO retiree Charles Sedlacek.

Charles passed away Friday, November 11, 2016, and was 85 years old at the time of his death. An obituary was published in the Omaha World-Herald on Sunday, November 13.

While at UNO, Charles worked as a professor in the University of Nebraska at Lincoln’s College of Engineering on Scott Campus. He worked for the university from September 1989 to August 2007.
