UNO Flag Lowering for Daniel Levine

The UNO flag near the Pep Bowl will be lowered Thursday.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Thursday, November 10, 2016, in memory of UNO retiree Daniel Levine.

Daniel passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, and was 81 years old at the time of his death. An obituary was published in The Kansas City Star on Thursday, October 20.

While at UNO, Daniel worked as a Professor in Educational Administration for the College of Education. Daniel was also a veteran.

He is survived by his wife Rayna. Our thoughts and condolences are with Daniel’s loved ones during this difficult time.
