Volunteer for December 2016 Commencement

UNO will welcome more than 6,000 visitors to campus for Commencement.

On Friday, December 16, 2016, the UNO community will welcome more than 6,000 guests to campus as we celebrate the accomplishments of our newest graduates at Baxter Arena.

The Commencement Committee needs your help – whether you can pick up a volunteer shift or pass this information along to your colleagues or fellow students, your efforts will help ensure this university-wide celebration is a success.

Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to volunteer, as there are 50 positions to fill. Volunteers will receive a detailed email before the event, including job description and where to report to. Each volunteer shift will include a scheduled break.

If you are unable to volunteer the day of Commencement, volunteers are also needed on Wednesday, December 14, and Thursday, December 15. If you work for a college and have already been asked to volunteer for the line up room, please coordinate with your college representative. You do not need to volunteer again through MavSYNC.
