UNO Names Sandy Keil Employee of the Month

Sandy Keil, graduate programs assistant, Teacher Education Department, recently was named UNO’s Employee of the Month for April.
The Celebration Committee surprised Sandy with the news on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Sandy was nominated by her peers for her adaptability, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the job.
They said, “Sandy does a spectacular job of keeping track of all the information about our graduate programs in TED. Her flexibility and patience with the multitude of changes in Teacher Education Graduate Programs over the past two years have been crucial to maintaining consistency and clarity for candidates. She has developed record keeping strategies that help us to track students and watch for enrollment growth or decline.”
They continued, “She is always calm and has a kind, compassionate manner when dealing with our students or with faculty. Sandy’s interpersonal skills are a wonderful mixture of insight, intuition, and inclusiveness that support a strong team environment. She is the consummate professional and a wonderful representative of UNO.”
As Employee of the Month, Sandy will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
