Faculty Senate/Staff Advisory Council Recognition Banquet Award Winners

The Faculty Senate/Staff Advisory Council Recognition Banquet was held April 26 in the MBSC Ballroom. The event is held each year to honor faculty and staff memebers for their service to UNO.

Spirit of Service Award | David Kimble

The Spirit of Service Award recognizes contributions to UNO by its Office/Service employees above and beyond their assigned duties.

David Kimble, Campus Recreation, is the recipient for this year's Spirit of Service Award.

His peers said, "David is consistently pleasant and agreeable while providing support where it is needed. He makes himself available for all levels of people who may need help. David is truly a valued employee for our campus."

Employee of the Year Award | Jeffrey Kaipust

Jeffrey Kaipust, building coordinator for the Biomechanics Reasearch Building, is the recipient for this year's Employee of the Year Award.

His peers said, "Jeff genuinely cares about each person who works in and visits the Biomechanics Research Building. When conflict resolution is needed, Jeff is a great mediator. He is a very dedicated employee and is well respected by faculty, staff, and students."
