The Milo Bail Student Center is excited to introduce Branden Williams as the new UNO Food Services Manager, effective May 17.
Williams comes to UNO with his bachelor’s degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University, one of the top three hospitality colleges in the U.S. He served as Head Chef and Dietary Manager at Charleston Surgical Hospital, where he oversaw kitchen efficiency, menu development, and catered to special dietary and cultural needs.
Additionally, Williams has experience teaching culinary arts and managing catering operations for Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Virginia. At that institution, he was responsible for preparing students for careers in the hospitality industry and providing technical instruction relevant to the actual work environment.
The position was previously held by Wyatte Stuard, whose last day with UNO was March 31. Williams was hired as UNO’s Catering Manager in August 2016 and moved to an interim management position in April.
We look forward to further applying Branden’s creativity, experience, and passion for culinary arts in his new position.
