Early Leave Procedures for Bank of the West Concert

The annual Bank of the West Celebrates America concert and fireworks show will be held Friday, June 30, from 6 to 10 P.M. This year’s entertainment includes Kool & the Gang, Emmett Bower Band, and The Confidentials.

The event is free and open to the public, and UNO will once again provide free parking. Please review the parking information for the event:

  • Dodge Campus East Garage will be open to the public
  • Dodge Campus surface lots will be open to the public
  • Campus shuttle service stops at 6 P.M.
  • Follow standard procedures for handicap and reserved stalls
  • Pedestrians should use the overpass when crossing Dodge Street

UNO encourages employees on Dodge and Scott Campuses to leave between 3 and 4 P.M. to avoid traffic congestion that day. Non-exempt (hourly) employees should work with their supervisors to make up lost time.

Because Friday is the first day of a new work week, hours cannot be made up prior to the concert. Please adjust for the time on the following Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Any additional questions about payroll should be directed to Lolita Schumacher at 402.554.2739.

Please be aware that the cashiering windows will close at 4 P.M. that day.
