Erickson, Allbery Tabbed to NABC Honors Court

From OMAVS.com -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches released its 2016-17 NABC Honors Court Tuesday, and the list includes Omaha men's basketball student-athletes Kyler Erickson and Alex Allbery, who excelled in the classroom last season. It marked the second straight Honors Court award for both players.
Erickson, a native of Omaha, Neb., graduated with his bachelor's degrees in business administration and entrepreneurship in May 2016. In returning for a sixth year of eligibility in 2016-17, he pursued another bachelor's degree in psychology and carried a 3.41 grade-point average. Erickson was a member of the Summit League's Academic Honor Roll, Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence and Distinguished Scholars List.
Allbery, also from Omaha, has compiled a 3.44 GPA with a major in business administration. He is a member of the Summit League's Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, as well as the UNO Dean's List.
In order to be named to the annual Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, hold a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher and have matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
