UNO Flag Lowering for John Pearson

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered Friday, July 28, 2017, in memory of UNO retiree John E. Pearson.

Pearson passed away Sunday, July 24, and was 91 years old at the time of his death. An obituary was published in the Omaha World-Herald with service arrangements.

While at UNO, Pearson worked as a publications coordinator in UNO University Relations for nearly 30 years. He worked for UNO from Aug. 15, 1960, until his retirement on Nov. 1, 1987.

Pearson is survived by his cousin, Howard Pearson of Wahoo, NE, and other cousins. Our thoughts and condolences are with John's loved ones during this difficult time.
