UNO Names Fred Abram Employee of the Month

Frederick “Fred” Abram, Lead Toddler 2 Teacher at the UNO Child Care Center, was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for July.

The Celebration Committee surprised Fred with the news on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017.

Fred was nominated by peers for his dedication, flexibility, and kindness.

They said, "Fred always seems to put that little extra effort in or chat with you as a parent at pickup. He truly embodies what it means to be a Maverick."

Another said, "There is no job Fred cannot do. From being in the classroom with the children, taking care of a child’s owie, to serving meals to the children and opening and closing of the child care center. He is one in a million."

As Employee of the Month, Fred will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
