Flag Lowering for Juan Felix

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, in memory of UNO staff member Juan Felix.

Felix passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and was 40 at the time of his death. Services for Felix took place on Monday, Oct. 9.

At the time of his passing, Felix was working as a Land Management Specialist at the Glacier Creek Preserve. He had been serving in that role for a little over two years.

Felix is survived by his parents, Freddie and Arcelia; sister Maribel (Cory) Pribyl; nephews, Gabriel and Ganner; and many other beloved family members and friends.
