This is a courtesy notice that the City of Omaha will soon be increasing parking enforcement at Elmwood Park.
Any vehicles found violating signage – such as parking beyond two hours in two-hour parking stalls – will receive a citation. Vehicles with removed or obstructed plates and obstructed Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) will be towed immediately. As an example, this includes cars with tape or paper covering a VIN that should be visible through the windshield.
Obstructing plates and VINs is also not allowed on the UNO campus and may result in a vehicle being booted or towed.
Please note that a number of flexible campus transportation options are available, including the MavRide bus program, daily parking, and hourly parking. If you have any questions about these options or UNO's parking policies, please visit parking.unomaha.edu, email unoparking@unomaha.edu or call 402.554.PARK (7275).
