The ITA Community Service Awards honor excellence in community engagement. The 2017-18 Maverick squad volunteered more than 50 hours of service this season, working with Habitat for Humanity, Mighty Mavs, Snow Day With the Mavs, the Maverick Food Drive and Big Pitch.
"It's great to be recognized by the ITA for our community service," head coach Adam Summitt said. "Our program takes pride in giving time back to the community, and receiving this award is an honor for both our team and our university."
