UNO Names Bari Marshall Employee of the Month for May

Bari Marshall, Assistant Director for Student Involvement, was recently named UNO’s Employee of the Month for May.
The Celebration Committee surprised Bari with the award on May 17, 2018.
Bari was nominated by her peers for her teamwork and desire to put students first.
They said, “Bari is extremely personable within the Division of Student Affairs and she brings members of the division together. Students and staff enjoy being around her and always look forward to having Bari as part of their team due to her hard work, her knowledge and expertise and her personality and attitude.”
They continued,” The students she works with really feel challenged to think more intentionally and efficiently, but also have fun with the efforts on which they are working. She really puts the student’s needs first, in both programming and development These strengths are what make her outstanding in her role.”
For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Bari will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event and use of a designated parking space.
To nominate an employee, print and complete the nomination form and send it through campus mail to the Office of Human Resources, 205 EAB.
